Michael P. Shea – Owner

Michael P. Shea was Born and raised in Norwalk, CT.  He attended and Graduated from Central Catholic High School in Norwalk and then received a baseball scholarship to attend Valencia Junior College in Orlando.  After two years at Valencia Junior College he was offered a scholarship to transfer to Saint Thomas University in Miami where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.

His first job out of College was with a Nationwide Trucking Company as their Operations Supervisor, after 10 years with the trucking company he decided to go into business for himself as a distributor for Arizona Ice Tea. After several years of building the soft drink distribution company he sold it to pursue other business opportunities. While He was looking for new business opportunities he discovered a screen and window repair company “Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors”.

Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors was established in 1954 by Mr. Robert Carbonneau’s who remained the original owner until Mike purchased 100 percent of the company.  Mike continued to work out of the small shop and the one work truck that Mr. Carbonneau had acquired of the years.  After three years renting at the old Carbonneau’s location and rebuilding the brand name he purchased a new office and two warehouse spaces in Margate. Mike obtained his Glass and Glazing Contractor License (Lic #SCC131151291).  This license is a specialty license that allows Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors to install, repair, or replace Doors, Windows, and Screening.

With Mikes years of experience and knowledge of products and the construction industry he built Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors to be one of the leading window and door companies in Broward County and the Tri-County area.  Carbonneau’s has grown from two employees to a crew of thirteen and it currently has six trucks on the road weekly.  His business philosophy and number one priority at Carbonneau’s is customer service. Mike takes pride in providing the highest level of customer service and ensuring that every member of his team meets or exceeds these requirements.  Carbonneau’s prides itself on Customer satisfaction and is committed to giving the best service and craftsmanship to all their customers.

Sean Shea – Partner

Sean was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida.  Son to Mike Shea, he began working for Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors in 2000.  Starting out as a Helper Technician and working his way up to Lead Installer and now part owner and a vital asset to every aspect of the company.  From handling small repairs to estimating and installing.  With his 13 years plus in the industry, Sean specializes in all aspects of window/door/glass installation and repair, as well as making custom window screens.

His impeccable attention to detail and immense knowledge makes him a key employee for Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors.  He is constantly making sure customers are 100 percent satisfied with the work that we do.

Scott Meier – Partner

Scott Meier was born and raised in Kansas,  After graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor Degree in Recreation Administration he moved to Florida to pursue a career in Recreation.  Through this he met and became great friends with Mike Shea.  That friendship lead to Scott becoming a partner at Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors and leaving the recreation field behind.

In 2009 Scott opened and built Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors of Palm Beach from the ground up.  He manages and supervises all aspects of this division from the design phase to the installation phase.  He has also created a full service repair side as well.

Scott’s dedication to his customers is his first priority.  Making sure all aspects of the job whether it be a small repair or a complete home installation meet our customers needs 100 percent.

Willie Weghorst – Repair Technician and Installer

Willie Weghorst was born and raised in New York.  After graduating high school Willie enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  He served from 1988-1992.  After leaving the Navy he moved to South Florida.

Willie has been doing construction all of his life.  He grew up installing swimming pools with his dad and has remained in the construction industry ever since.  He has over 22 years of experience specializing in window, door, and screen repair and installation.  Willie has been with Carbonneau’s Windows and Doors for over two years now doing repairs, installing windows and doors, and supervising large scale jobs.
